1966 CORVETTE ROADSTER
BLOOMINGTON GOLD SURVIVOR AWARD WINNER
THIS
CAR HAS BEEN SOLD
This is a fabulous original Corvette and an important offering. I’ve known this great car for approximately seventeen years now. As some of you know, I’ve had a great deal of experience with mid-year Corvettes and this is unquestionably one of the best originals I’ve ever seen.
First, a few words about a beautiful low mileage original car. To those of us who’ve been in this hobby for a long time, these are the “holey grail”. They’re by far and away, the most difficult to find and the most desirable to own. In over forty-years of experience with collector cars, I’ve never regretted the decision to invest in a quality low mileage original car. If you’ve done this as long as I have, you know that you can turn any “hunk of junk” into a show car if you’ve got the time, the talent and the money to do it. However, only the factory can truly create an original car.
The Corvette being offered here is a Bloomington survivor winner. If you’re familiar with Bloomington (and what true Corvette guy isn’t) then you know how difficult it is to earn this prestigious certificate. In just a few short words, this is a VERY TOUGH award to win! Only the very best of the best original cars have a chance at winning this certificate.
This particular Corvette roadster has just a little over 39,000 actual miles. It’s an extremely rare and desirable color combination of silver on silver. This is a small block, four-speed car. The options are factory side exhaust, teak steering wheel and an am/fm radio with a power antenna. Not a lot of options I fully admit but what you’re buying here is a beautiful low mileage original car. As I’m sure you already know, that’s
much harder to find then one with a few more bells and whistles.
Please give me a call and we’ll go over any questions you might have in detail.
The asking price is $66,000.
