1976 Cadillac Eldorado
Convertible
THIS CAR WAS
DONATED TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF GREATER SCOTTSDALE,
ARIZONA.
100% OF THE
PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THIS CAR WILL GO TO THAT WORTHWHILE
ORGANIZATION. IF YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE THE AUTOMOBILE, YOU
WILL BE SENDING THE FUNDS DIRECTLY TO THEM.
This is a one-owner Arizona car since
new. It is fully loaded with all of the desirable extra cost
options. The car also has the valuable fiberglass parade boots
for the convertible top, which were a desirable extra cost
option and highly sought after today.
Another great feature on this car is the
beautiful two-tone paint scheme, which accentuates the size of
the car and the classic design. This particular car came from
the factory in solid silver and the two-tone effect was added
later. However, I believe the custom paint was a special order
option available from Cadillac when the car was
new.
These cars are known for their great
power and an unbelievably smooth ride. The cars came equipped
with the fabulous 8.2 liter, 500 cubic inch V-8 engine. They
sit on a wheelbase that’s over 126 inches in length. With a
weight of approx. 2 & 1/2 tons, this car can make any road
feel as smooth as silk.
This beautiful Eldorado is an excellent
opportunity for a knowledgeable collector or just for someone
who’s looking for a very impressive American convertible.
Cars like this one will likely never be seen on the road
again. These are unquestionably magnificent automobiles that
make a real statement of American luxury, quality and
workmanship.
If you have followed my web site over the
years, you know that I have had a long association with the
Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. It has been my
pleasure to assist them with the automobiles that have been
donated to this great cause. In this particular case, there
has been quite a bit of work done to the car to “freshen it
up” from years of sitting in inside storage in Tucson,
Arizona. Please don’t hesitate to call me and we’ll go
over the specifics of the recent and extensive professional
work that has been done to this automobile. The combination of
a one owner Arizona car with ZERO rust and the professional
restoration work has turned this Eldorado into the outstanding
example that you see in these photos. I am very familiar with
these cars and have seen a lot of them over the years. Now, I
am not saying that this is the finest example that I have ever
seen but it is a very nice one.
The Boys and Girls Club is asking
$28,500.00 for the automobile. Please understand too that
there could possibly be a
partial tax write off here for you to consider as well. You
should discuss that portion of the transaction with your tax
accountant, the Boys and Girls Club and the IRS. Specific
questions pertaining to the condition of the car should be
directed to me.
